if anyone could recommend a few mixes that would be good to have on in a bar during off nights, I'd appreciate it

looking for stuff that's not too poppy, not too deep

thanks guys, loads of great stuff here, giving the White Light Optimo mix a go which is already sounding great (but then I love every mix I've heard from them)

I'm really enjoying the new double mix CD by Acid Pauli on Crosstown Rebels. First disc is slow, dubby house. Think Nocilas Jaar, Stimming, Raz Ohara, etc. The second disc picks up the pace a little, and moves from Dop to Autechre... really interesting and musical.

Beyond that, I would second those who've sad the Maya Jane Coles DJ Kicks is great. Also like Motor City Drum Ensemble's DJ Kicks. Some little heard gems on that. Have been a little disappointed by most Fabric mixes this year - Ben Klock a case in point.

This is great, thanks! Constantly forget to check out new BIS shows...

I saw Prosumer in Cologne last week and when he played that Addictive & DJ Naughty track that's also in the BIS mix (+ a bunch of other UK Funky) it really went off. I checked hardwax and they used to stock that record, I'm guessing that was largely down to him.

One of my favourite mixes not mentioned so far is Late Nite Tuff Guy's 'One Night In A Disco' mix, filled with his endlessly sumptuous and listenable edits - the edit of Change's "A Lover's Holiday" in particular always makes me smile.
