is anyone a proper motown enthusiast on here? i've been looking into putting together a spotify playlist/actual list but everything gets a bit murky* after about 67.

*or at least in the 5 minutes i devoted to looking it up, will try again soon.

I went to a Motown special at Ronnie Scott's last Christmas. It was, by a mile, the funnest gig I've ever been to.

Don't forget the year-end hiatus while everybody talks about 2012. I don't think Miles will start until mid-January, unless I get overruled. I do think we can get BRUUUUUUUUUUUCE in under the wire though.

Definitely hold off Miles; I've already told you once.

i think we could all benefit from a Queen poll, so kindly put me down for it. pretty sure it won't be happening before 2015, but we're tearing through the list faster than i expected. Roxy Music, which i'll also be putting together, incredibly doesn't feel so far off anymore.

i know the Boo Radleys will be fine as 15 people in that poll (the one i posted upthread) have already said that they would vote in it. they have a very dedicated fan base and a bunch of fans on ILM. it won't be the least voted in poll.
