"black & yellow" as a song is straight but the explicit version has so many awkward pauses it sounds like a radio edit. i'm saying he's never had a 16 that anyone could sanely call a hot 16.

Sometimes he sounded cool or complemented a song well or it just worked, like on mesmerized. Im not sure youd call keef's verse a "hot 16" either, but he is funny on it and has presence, while wiz just completely empties the track of energy the second he shows up

i think whipped noreefer just jumped on the song as a cry for help after amber outlawed smoking in the house

Should also mention, the ross verse on "3hunna" sucks too.

12/18 a good release date for sales because of christmas? feel like ito critical attention that's a bad move tho (maybe this is not so important for chief keef sales)

yeah traditionally everything gets a sales bump around the holidays although i think the effect is more and more negligible especially for rap now, and labels just kinda do it out of force of habit or to unload some albums they'd been delaying all year (see also: t.i., big boi and wiz dropping in december) and of course they don't give a shit about critical attention, although keef probably should given the ratio of press attention to radio spins.

Yeah, it was fun, despite waiting an hour and a half to get inside the venue in the cold. He didn't end up playing until around 2:00am, but it was a cool show. I have nothing at all against Tity Boi playing the 1 minute of each track he's featured on. Ground floor was like a mosh pit.
