completely disagree. kanye doing a remix --even ignoring his stupid changes to the beat-- is about asserting his aesthetic onto someone else's vision. in this case, it's a favor to both 50 and wiz that they even get to guest on the record. (especially 50, who keef doesn't really need if he has wiz, and who badly needs a look like this)

fwiw i heard the version w/ 50 on it & he kinda kills it (havent heard wiz's verse)

i could imagine 50 sounding good on it because you could make the argument that keef's flow on that and "love sosa" is at least partially derived from 50's early sing-song raps, but it's still unnecessary. and wiz, jesus christ....

And part of the problem with the Don't Like remix was that all these technical celebrity rappers just didn't know what to do with that beat.

i mean it depends on what shipley is talking about with "people" -- for keef's fanbase & rap fans in general, deej's point is totally true. j kwon was just a dude who got slid two incredibly hot beats. if "people" means critics/industry people then you have to remember that keef already put out a very good mixtape, so it's not like people are completely tripping off one or two singles at this point.

deej i'm trolling to an extent but i do think calling it a "game changer" infers that rap will be different after keef...and i guess that suggests a whole lot more than what's going on here.
