OK, like it but also THE BOMB.

I think what makes it so interesting to me that it's so odd, it feels like it shouldn't work, the elements don't have a natural cohesion, and is going to fall apart at any minute, but keeps an intense nervous energy going.

it is also kinda slow and sparse compared to some of the stuff from that period

I just realized that in the last year I've bought 3 of Roman Flugel's albums, one of his mix cds, and an ep of his, and saw him dj. But then I noticed there's no Roman Flugel thread, so I came here to say that La Forza Del Destino holds up incredibly well as a mid 00s micro/minimal house album.

Altes Testament is all-time material for sure. I think it was like 11 or 12 on my 90s tracks ballot.

Being completely honest here, Carl Craig over the last 10 years or so has bored me to death.

But I will not knock the man's output in the 90s, boy howdy.

And while I'm confessing things, I like Jeff Mills' imitators better than his original productions.

i enjoy delta funktionen's drawn-out brand of tripping dutch techno but i had somehow never really given a good listen to this track which is nice in the way kompakt used to be nice
