OK i'll do a top 400 albums then (was gonna be 350 but the tracks polls gonna finish a few days earlier so what the hell) The full lists will be posted at the end too. Those who don't care about #400 can always start reading later if they're not bothered about missing some good stuff. The point of these polls is to introduce music so the best way is to roll out a long list. The tracks poll has been justified and a lot will say there's loads of great songs outside the top 250. Posting a big list at the end doesn't get anywhere as many people checking that stuff out.

its not really any extra hassle. Just got to google album cover pics instead of search youtube. Most of the spotify links are already on the playlist. Thats one hassle less.

its a pleasure. Loads have discovered some bands that they wouldn't have done with a shorter list. So that's job done. Thats much more important than the order of a top 50 to me. But those who just want that can tune in for it.

yeah, I took that approach a few times with the idea of putting as many cool artists out there as possible, but in general I felt like I had to go w/my favorite tracks even if I nominated the album.
