I'm seriously going to have to think about this one!

Kinda stumped myself. Albums aren't this good very often.

Still can't believe that "Tempted" didn't go Top 40 U.S. (#49), but it's their most popular song.
― jetfan, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 04:13 (thirteen years ago)
In Quintessence is up there for my favorite Squeeze song in general, but Piccadilly is a jam too
― fadanuf4erybody, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 04:14 (thirteen years ago)
"Labelled with love" though. Never liked it.
― Mark G, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 06:08 (thirteen years ago)
The world would vote "Tempted"
Voted "Is that love"

Quite amazed at how good this LP still sounds. Every song a gem on side 1. Then this on side 2, which got my vote.

Voted "Is That Love?" but feel like I've just knifed 10 much loved songs in the back.
― Jeff W, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 18:12 (thirteen years ago)

― kizz my hairy irish azz (Dr Morbius), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 18:29 (thirteen years ago)
Went for Piccadilly, but it could have been Mumbo Jumbo, Women's World, In Quintessence or possibly even something else. Phenomenal album.

Is that Love? worthy of Lennon
― Dr X O'Skeleton, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 22:17 (thirteen years ago)
Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

have to admit i'm not really too fond of this album, putting it on just kinda makes me wish I was listening to Arby Bargy instead. gonna vote for "Tempted" since i always liked that one more than most Squeeze fans seem to.
― some dude, Thursday, 20 September 2012 06:38 (thirteen years ago)
If the world will vote Tempted, consider me part of that world. Still unfuckwithable.
Runners-up: In Quintessence, Woman's World, Vanity Fair, Messed Around
Vanity Fair and Woman's World are an odd and gutsy sequencing choice: two consecutive stylistic departures/experiments to close the album. Who would try that today, let alone pull it off as well as Squeeze did?
― SlimAndSlam, Thursday, 20 September 2012 11:28 (thirteen years ago)
I meant Vanity Fair and Messed Around as the closing pair. Need coffee.
.. in bed?

― balls, Friday, 21 September 2012 08:03 (thirteen years ago)
Rather surprised I was the only vote for Piccadilly.
― 'Separate Lives', by Phil Collins & Marilyn Manson (PaulTMA), Friday, 21 September 2012 13:17 (thirteen years ago)
And that there were none for Woman's World.
