i was initially under the impression it was anything but this... like every almost (every?) track was appropriated from within the fairly close rbma + nyc bass scenes - like nick hook / lunice / machine drum / munchi have all hung out with each other - i'd assumed one of them was doing most of the arranging on the album and had requested use of the tracks from the others, i guess not?

but fuxache it's an edit, if her ppl have cleared the sample (!) then 25k and an artist credit is probably more than he'd get on a producer royalty after paying Jordan

I feel extremely bad for Montell Jordan, Claudja Berry and all of the people at Interscope and Polydor who were very helpful in trying to make a solution to this shit, but if you get disrespected 11 times over a course of a couple of months -more than half being in one day- things will get extremely difficult.
