Jesus. Am I wrong to actually feel a bit shocked by this?
And by "this" I do not mean the stupidity of Lupe's fans but by Lupe's own conduct. I knew he was an idiot, but this is just so... disgraceful.

i am not shocked by twitter allowing any celebrity to demonstrate their idiocy

i am...not shocked, but more depressed, by the reaction of the fans. feminism has a long way to go. it really is depressing that such basic things are not taken for granted.

Of course twitter is disgraceful. But more specifically, an artist using twitter to claim that someone who critiqued their music video actually is "degrading society" is disgraceful.

i think it's more that lupe's idea of "having a conversation about bitch" is everyone praising him and thanking him for writing a song where he tackles the word "bitch." and sure, it's laudable enough, but once someone criticized his execution he was more or less done with the "conversation" part
