Huh. Well, she never toured the US behind it, did she? When I saw her last, she encored with "Born This Way," so the single was out, but she hasn't been back here since. I don't think?

The Born This Way Ball is the third concert tour by American recording artist Lady Gaga, in support of her second studio album Born This Way (2011). The tour will consist of approximately 110 shows in Asia, New Zealand, Australia, and later Europe in August 2012, followed by Latin America and South Africa towards the end of the year, and then North America beginning in January 2013.[1]

yeah i guess the last US dates were actually a few weeks before the album dropped, although multiple singles were out by then and the album had been pushed back a bit so i'd thought of those as in support of Born This Way. not touring the US at all after it dropped probably hurt the album's standing, too, but then she toured for like 2 and a half years straight for The Fame. The tour in 2011 was the Fame Monster Ball. The Born This Way Ball started in April 2012, which I think is why we haven't seen her as much recently. (x-post)

She does work hard. But for most purposes, then, no - she did not tour the US behind Born This Way. I imagine by January 2013 the hype machine will have shifted fully to the new album. I think that's kinda cool, actually. I liked the idea of artists so prolific their tours can't keep up with their output.
