haha, classic. makes me laugh every time. my friend did a cover of this track, weirdly enough. i think it's his favorite BTS song. he's also done "fingertips" by tmbg.

Love how they were mocking a style of music that wouldn't really be broadly popular for another five years with that emo mall-punk track

I guess they were already mocking Green Day even though GD were not huge yet? When this BTS album came out, I def heard it as 'LOL Green Day'

I figured they were mocking Descendants and All.

yeah i always heard it as a socal punk knock-off.

It always makes me think of Promise Ring (which didn't even exist in 1994) or Jimmy Eat World (which just barely existed then). It feels like a song Jimmy Eat World could have turned into a hit post-"The Middle"
