honestly, i'm not sure what to make of the leviathan case or its outcome. at this point, i don't have any clear idea what whitehead did or didn't do, beyond the general fact of his conviction. i remember being sickened by the accounts of the charges against him when i first read them, but most were dropped before trial, and he was found innocent of most of the rest. not that that really proves anything... i guess i consider the dude a misogynist scumbag based on the one charge he was found guilty of and the album he put out in the midst of the trial. otoh, i don't blame his friends for defending him.
