Wow - the tickets are almost £20 each! That seems insanely steep to me.

Did anyone buy tix to that show at The Garage? It's not until March 22nd but probably sold out by now. So high demand = high prices. I'd gladly pay £20 seeing as I'd consider spending a lot more just to fly to London to see it. Also, look forward to the Purson album, The Circle And The Blue Door.

Yeah I got them. Tickets usually about 10-15 for The Garage, so yeah a bit pricey. Has just sold out anyway though & there's now a 2nd show the next day. Annoyingly with Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell in support, so kind of wish I'd waited, but then again will be seeing ASCS this weekend anyway.

Oh man, Uncle Acid and Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell would be a hell of a show, would love to see that tour through the States.

if there were complaints about the first vinyl pressing, i certainly don't hear it in the second (black, at least). nice and heavy. quality sleeve too.

I got the CD over the holidays and have listened to it quite a bit. It's a cool mix of sounds, which is why they are getting so much deserved props.

I found this record on orange vinyl for an exorbitant price in an average-at-best record store in my podunk, USA town and snapped it up. Been blasting it for weeks now; my five-month-old seems to dig it.

in a way, Blood Lust distribution was not really official as well..

psych record collectors dont wash and have long hair and beards. as do the bands. So watch out for the cries of "fake" and "hipsters" on every message board now (esp as pitchfork and nme might cover them now "theyre one of us!")

what world do you live in?

that guitar looks like a E335? or similar? Those are great fucking guitars and they are semi-hollow which can be pretty cool for feedback and tone IMO

actually maybe a yamaha? yamaha made some nice guitars...bigsby on it or similar bar

but basically if their guitars sound good to you, then it's a good guitar to use for a stoner band

how's life - i swear it says yamaha on the headstock? or i see a "Y" but yamaha always made guitars that emulated classic guitars, often just as good and more affordable
