what is the best song from 1990???

I am as corny indie as they come and so it's remarkable to me that "Groove Is In The Heart" and "Everybody Everybody" stand so far above the rest for me, competing only with "Here's Where The Story Ends."

But yeah, this thread is an unrelenting wave of "Wait, THAT TOO?"

I'll mention "You Are Loved" by Blue Aeroplanes, which I really, really like, but which probably wouldn't crack my top 10 of songs mentioned here.

I think I spent more time listening to the radio in 1990 than in any other year. I love all these tracks, might have to make a CD-R or Youtube playlist or something.

"jealousy" by pet shop boys another one i loved at the time. i mean i still love just don't hear it like i heard it then. i had to check to make sure it was 1990 and it was one of those cases where the album came out in 1990 but the single (which was different than the album version) came out in 1991. i think i've got that straight. come to think of it, "so hard" and "being boring" would be on any 1990 list i made.

As Ned mentioned earlier, My Bloody Valentine's "Soon" is the best song ever recorded, and so it's definitely the best thing to come out in 1990.
