This is a "which child do I kill" toss-up between Ray Price and Johnny Cash.
Trivia: Ray Price introduced Merle Haggard to weed, making him Bob Dylan to Merle's Beatles.

"For the Good Times", & while Price's version is the classic, Elvis' from 72 is devastating too.

I love Charley Pride's "San Antone", the Ray Price is obviously great, and the Lynn Anderson fits right in with the great pop hits of 70. Tough choice.
"Fightin' Side of Me," though, is the veritable bogus cheese product that eventually became Toby Keith poo.
