I have held off from posting itt because of the terrible thread title but this is otm I want to drive 100 mph everytime it comes on

it's nice that they realized that french had nothing to do w/ the beat/hook that made "shot caller" a hit and bought another hit for him

i've been listening to "all birds" a lot off the MMG album. classic sleepy baby french hook.

I think the King L tape might be my fave of the nu-Chi class of 2012.

I don't know why all these tapes (King L/IceBurg/MeekMill) have to be 75 minutes long. It's such a slog, which is maybe why I keep coming back to lean 12-track ish like Action Bron or Mayhem Lauren

mixtapes on the whole seemed to be getting shorter a couple years ago and then the trend reversed

ALBUMS were getting shorter too and now it's the magical iTunes bonus bullshit era

keef's and reese's mixtapes each being like 11 songs is one of the reasons why i'd rate both so highly this year
