xxxps that jakob mikesh filbert track is really nice but why the vocal? can't stop hearing "bowl of sick" which slightly ruins the balearic loveliness.

mikesh & filburt have history here - "milk & honey" is an amazing track but i cannot work out what the vocal line is supposed to be if not "you are shittin on my hairdo"

Mark is someone who has already had a fruitful career making music and seems to have been able to translate that into doing whatever the fuck he wants to do, which in this case is pretty awesome :)

Yeah that Dreams edit is nice. Anyone know the deal with Psychemagik album/CD? I had a quick listen to the samples and For Your Love sounds the same Idjut's Lasagne For 10 and the Aldeia De Ogum doesn't sound any different to Joyce's original. Are these edits worth buying?

Anybody heard the new Seahawks album (Aquadisco)? I wasn't really feeling Invisible Sunrise apart from the first two tracks.

No but that Seahawks/Crue-l Grand Orch 12" sounds great but out of budget range sadly.

i, for one, thoroughly enjoyed invisible sunrise! first two tracks are prob the best tho, i'll admit to that.

not sure how i feel about another album of overdone/lazy edits but i love psychemagik so i'll definitely give it a go. and of course i'm stoked for another seahawks full length

ditto on the Land of Light & Secret Circuit recommendations - two fantastic albums out now. Land of Light went straight into my top five for the year, it's stunning and should be played on vinyl through a decent soundsystem to really get the best effect!

Electric Elephant is amazing, 100% recommended, maybe a slightly older crowd than the others but more mellow with it. Most of them take place on the same site anyway so it's probably a matter of picking the one with the DJs you like best, but that one is fantastic. Really friendly as well, the DJs just hang out and join the party/sit on the beach, we ended up having dinner in a restaurant next to Andy Weatherall last time, there's a really open feel to it.

I mostly bumped this thread to rep for Mario Basanov's album, which I really enjoyed on the way in.
