I remember the year they played Glastonbury around the time their first album was out, my uncle was sat in his house watching the coverage on TV. "These don't seem too bad," he said to himself as they launched into the first song, much to my disgust. He took his eyes off the TV for about 10 or 12 minutes while he had a conversation with someone, during which they'd played something like three or four songs, and when he finally started paying attention to it again, this look of confusion came across his face. "Is this still the same song?". I was laughing my tits off!

three months pass...
four years pass...
Like, are there really that many people who are going to be like "yeah, 'She's So Lovely' was the shit - thank you for reminding me of the existence of this band, I really need them in my life..."?

they were on the telly once in their heyday and for some reason the main guy was tuning his guitar and he actually didn't know how to do it.
so basically scouting for girls are punk rock.
