zip was corrupted for me...listening to soundcloud! first track is impressive sounds very professional compared to ours haha, just like soundwise, great synth sounds and melodies

i tried to fix my lighting on audacity but finally had to be like "fuck it"

uuuuuuuuuugh, i want my track deleted. the really fucking annoying high pitched "click" that persists throughout the entire track is supposed to be a low-pitched percussive bass tone. actually, it IS a low pitched percussive bass tone on headphones (never mixing anything on these headphones again), but out of laptop speakers it is a terrible, terrible noise. and everything else sounds terrible too. i'm really embarrassed and i wish there was a way to delete my track. :( i should have listened to it out of laptop speakers before submitting because that's the way music is heard these days, pretty much.

lol Z S, you have described exactly how I feel about what I submitted (on "Pulleys", half of the percussion tracks were somehow muted when I was generating the final MP3 and I didn't notice until the next day!)

yeah, it's such a bummer! i mean, it wasn't that good of a track anyway, but that terrible noise is actively irritating and almost painful to endure. last time i'll mention this, but ned - if you ever reupload the file, please remove my track or use someone else's in my space. sorry!

i had the same problem. i also forgot to do any compression, which is kinda important when working with recordings of instruments

I don't mean to hate on anyone's fun here, but I'm actually finding it not very nice reading the comments on my track. Like, I didn't do this with the intention of fooling anyone, I can understand why people would be disappointed or annoyed if they were expecting AC and got me.

(The thing that confuses me, though, is despite my vocals, why does it keep being attributed to blokes - either Panda Bear or of Montreal, apparently?)

This is great. I love all the tracks. Absolutely adore the first track though.

Please do not believe these recordings for a second. These will not be on the final recording and are just demos that were leaked by an engineer who has since been fired. These were unmastered and do not reflect the final contents of Centipede Hz or the true capabilities of the band.

I wouldn't sweat it. This isn't like people releasing fake Boards of Canada mp3s on the sly back in the day, this is a band with two (extremely distinctive) vocalists. A band that have been playing these tunes live for ages - they're all over YouTube and other sites so unless ILX really takes it to the next level and starts shooting fake gigs, it's pretty obvious what's real and what's not.
