Not going well here - not only have Waterford lost the Munster final, but I have a throat infection and my vocals aren't done yet. Gonna numb the hell out of my throat and give it a go later. Otherwise I'm gonna have to get creative.

are people doing limiter/compressor type mastering jobs on their tracks? i don't want to be the guy whose track is 10x as loud as all the others, but i also don't want to be the guy whose track is 10x quieter.

I really tried to make a track that sounded how I imagine AC's new record to sound, but I just couldn't get it sounding quite icky enough, and it all went a bit Stars Of The Lid in the middle instead, sending over in a little while Ned.

Just sent my one there. Animal Collective sampled the Grateful Dead on their last EP, so clearly the next step for Fake Animal Collective was to sample noted Dead influence and jam band faves Herman's Hermits. Twas nearly an instrumental - voice is shot with a throat infection, but had enough lemon, honey, and Merocaine to squawk something out. The cover above looks amazing. Looking forward to this.

i'll take a look through my scrapheap this evening and see if there's anything polished enough to fill in for a missing track

does this need a track list / back cover? I can toss one together once there's a final list, assuming people actually are into the one I made or at least don't totally hate it or something

Ned, I could maybe cobble together something a la my sound effects track for 'Today's Supernatural' by the end of tomorrow - that seems to be the only track that doesn't have a version down. But if nobody else cares, then... uh, I guess I won't.
