aw idk man; i don't have any concerns about FO's voice, i think it's nice & like Rev says, really effectively discharged switching between modes. but Terius is a pretty slinky singer. like on the new single.

i have mad thoughtz on this album but am kind of drunk and about to go back outside so i may or may not reveal my thoughtz in this thread at a later date

though, i just have to say, how fucking poignant it is to hear him say "boy" - like, after years of (dis)identifying with female r&b singers and sort of placing onself into the narratives created by (ostensibly) hetero male r&b singers it's so fucking refreshing to hear that fucking pronoun coming from a male singer's mouth in a love song, you have no idea

i don't think he's necessarily using it as a pick up line -- i read it as frank talking to himself

obviously i was joking and the song isn't a pickup, but it seems to me like he's definitely addressing the object of his affection and not himself. in any event turning the outro of juvenile's "ha" into a love song is hilariously awful.

basically his bad ideas seem to be on the level w/ the-dream's but the far more serious and emotional underpinnings make them even more glaring imo
