OMG! 'Dagger To The Heart' is amazing!

yeah "Hope She Cheats On You" was definitely a throwback of some sort, although it felt bigger at the time as her first hit, whereas "Far Away" was like 10 times bigger. and then the next single after that was produced by Rich Harrison, so Marsha was really bringing '05 back hardcore.

It's just someone took a giant farting wub bassline and stuck it under this stoned-sounding girly singer a la 90s cusp coffee table ambient (she sounds a lot like that Opus III track that Orbital sampled actually) with twinkly synths and noises that sound like a chainsaw bouncing around a rubber room and it's just such a bodged together set of sounds that shouldn't work at all, but it is just candy to my ears and I can't stop listening to it.

Listened to a big wedge of this last night but my mind was so blown by the Royal T/Cheryl tune that a lot of the subsequent tunes didn't hit the same heights. Love love love that Tifa track though.
