How I feel every day tbh. That said, I will get my votes in at some point in the next couple of days - need to catch up with a few more of the tunes from the noms list that I don't know first.

How did I forget to nominate "Another Girl."

Should have really trawled through the spreadsheet earlier - went through looking for anything I may have missed while compiling my list, and none of the tracks I nominated back in this post were visible. Oh well, voting for most of them anyway.

(Took me till I reached the lack of Shit Robot's "Triumph" in the spreadsheet to make me do a double-take, though)

Ballot in. Left a bunch of stuff I nominated off, rediscovered the Luomo remix of Black Dice's "Smiling Off" and gave that some love instead - good fallback when DJing a mid-00s gallery opening.

I'm going to try and vote tonight but it's probably worth extending the deadline rather than running a poll with a tiny number of voters?

I have a shortlist of 80 now but I agree with extending the deadline because 1000+ nominations is so daunting.

Amazed potential high-placers LCD's Yeah and Katy B's On a Mission aren't in there but I guess I should have nominated them myself instead of kvetching now.

i think "yeah" is not electronic enough and "on a mission" is too pop for our participants

i would consider extending the deadline but i would want a roll call of who needs an extension, so that i know when to start counting ballots.

The thing with a theme like this, unlike a single-artist poll, is that there are so many factions - there are producers, labels, even genres I've ignored entirely and I'm sure that will be the case for a lot of voters, so you need a certain number of voters before any meaningful overlap will occur. I can see most of my tracks dying a lonely death if there are less than 20 ballots.

at some point I had to stop splitting hairs between adjacent tunes out of the 50 and hope for approx current favour/ranking within around 10 spots, except for the all important Top 5/Top 10. loved hearing (relistening to) many of these tunes again!
