it's not really that bad -- the same thing happened with the v-nasty/gucci album... it was just unmemorable and disappointingly perfunctory but bcuz of who v-nasty was some people acted like it was some notable affront to hip hop

this song just sounds like 5 joints that float out to blogs every week

most music, let alone most hip-hop, is hilariously terrible

this is banal in the way 99% of 2chainz features are

musically, it sounds like something off the last roach gigz album, which i was also disappointed with

i think her rapping is fine on it, its just not a dope song

i kinda think you've been spending too much time in based god/riff raff land if you can't figure out that not everybody is really into rappers doing simple little 8th note flows without actually riding the beat

the 2 Chainz verse is hilariously short and half-assed, even on the curve of his usual tossed-off style, like he almost wants you to know how much he doesn't give a shit about being on that song

ehhh, they're generic but not 'bad'

idk her music is p worthless w/out immediacy & pop appeal imo, so its kind of irrelevant, like, im def not checking for her for verses, but at the same time her raps fed into what made 'gucci gucci' work

it's a combo of the rhymes and her delivery, a great flow forgives a host of ain't-saying-nothing sins but that's like worst of both worlds
