LOL the first dreamchasers is like the most consistent mixtape of the past 2 or 3 years, easy. the new one is pretty good, but it sorta feels just like 1 but with all the real talk/personal songs stripped out and replaced with big name features that i don't really give a shit about.

so Big Sean is pretty widely hated then? I'm not too familiar with his stuff and he has an annoying voice but i think he's pretty damn good on "Burn"

i had really resigned myself to the idea that he was going to spend the rest of his life in jail and never make another song, even when i heard the news yesterday i kinda felt happy more just about the moral victory of the prosecution not getting away with using his lyrics against him in court. so that's great to hear.

was listening to the radio for like an hour today and every song i heard was a doper pop rap single

theres nothing out right now really going for that sorta ~epic~ vibe tho

i guess, idk -- it's a dj khaled song, it's pretty pro forma "epic"

i dont know what you're looking for it to do, i guess this is a matter of whether or not ur feeling the vibe its going for ... personally i think the beat is one of the more affecting on the radio at the moment

you realize that every single dj khaled song since "we takin over" has sounded exactly the same, right?

maybe my ears have been poisoned by the fact that khaled works for the no. 1 rap radio station in miami so i've found myself hearing shit like "all i do is win" and "welcome to my hood" more than anyone deserved

if you wanna say that this song is somehow any different or better than all the other khaled assembly line epic bangers of the last five years because it has some synth bleeps that's fine, but that's a pretty low bar imo
