Efua's "Somewhere" was my favourite song of 1993 at the time. A much bigger song in Australia than in the UK, I have no idea why:

Instead of the YouTube links, you guys wanna explain briefly why they should or shouldn't be forgotten? I'd love read a few words on "Don't Shut Me Out," fer instance.

I heard "High Enough" at CVS and "Second Chance" on the easy ilstening station last week.

Can I take a moment of your time to rep for a global mindwipe of Ace of Base.
I just can't. I can't I can't I can't.I even youtubed a link to post and then felt like a war criminal so I found something else instead.

The Freakytrigger crew commented ably on the goodness of "The Sign."
The rest is kinda crap.
― Exile in lolville (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Monday, 7 May 2012 21:27 (twelve years ago) link
I prefer the darker "All That She Wants" to "The Sign," tbh.
― sockless in moccasins (jaymc), Monday, 7 May 2012 21:29 (twelve years ago) link
! Wow. All That She Wants is top of my list of their worst.

sorry -- I meant "All That She Wants"
― Exile in lolville (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Monday, 7 May 2012 21:32 (twelve years ago) link
I thought for the longest time that "All That She Wants" was a song about trying to get pregnant.
― You Don't Throw Oranges On An Escalator (Deric W. Haircare), Monday, 7 May 2012 21:34 (twelve years ago) link
I thought it was!
I didn't post it yet and I'm kinda youtubed out, but I hope no-one's forgotten When I See You Smile by Bad English. I think it's still one of those ballads that always ends up on a compilation every few years...I am not ashamed to say that I love love love it.If only because Jon Waite had that not-so-hot-dude with hot-sounding-singing-voice thing going on.
― Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Monday, 7 May 2012 21:35 (twelve years ago) link
I adore a couple of John Waite solo hits but Bad English is an excrescence. A relative bought me the tape of that first album in late '89. The only I can stand is the (forgotten!) second hit "Price of Love."
