I don't have a problem with the list per se, other than the writing is terrible and occasionally inaccurate (x & y in a food processor? Stevie Ray Vaughn plays guitar on "Let's Dance" not Nile Rogers. Rogers produced (and plays guitar elsewhere on the album)

Anyway, getting mad about this list is like getting mad at one of Cracked's lists.

Huh, didn't realize that... I knew that Rogers played elsewhere on the album (the Pushing Ahead Of The Dame blog gets into all the details and Rogers' frankly impossible job at hand), but I thought the title track was all Vaughn. Would love to hear a track-by-track breakdown of it.

its funny because i remember from my spin reading youth when they used to like to include public enemy or whoever under the heading of 'rock' and now look theyre still doing it, its a spin tradition

that list is kinda cool. but yeah jack white is right up there with corgan for me as far as people who make me want to blow my brains out. and what whiney said about jeff beck is how i feel about j mascis. unless j is drumming in deep wound. then i love him. better trolling would have left out fahey and basho. and included whatsherface from the shaggs and the banjo player for the monks.
