wasn't the idea of D12 that each of the six members had two alter egos? bad idea jeans ahoy

lathe darkman (some dude), Friday, 20 April 2012 01:22 (fourteen years ago)

In order to make up the dozen, it was decided the six members at the time would each create an alter-ego. Proof's was Dirty Harry, Bizarre's was Peter S. Bizarre, Kuniva's was Hannz G. (which later became Rondell Beene), Kon Artis' was Mr. Porter, Bugz' was Robert Beck and Eminem created the famous character Slim Shady.

dayo, Friday, 20 April 2012 01:24 (fourteen years ago)

for some reason I thought masta ace was in D12. guess not!

dayo, Friday, 20 April 2012 01:25 (fourteen years ago)

yologram (J0rdan S.), Friday, 20 April 2012 01:26 (fourteen years ago)

I first heard masta ace in an eminem collab, guess I got my wires permanently crossed thereafter

dayo, Friday, 20 April 2012 01:31 (fourteen years ago)

I don't think I've ever heard a full masta ace album. what's the one to get?

azealia canks (Whiney G. Weingarten), Friday, 20 April 2012 04:07 (fourteen years ago)

J0rdan, Diddy (tpp), Sunday, 29 April 2012 12:11 (fourteen years ago)

listening this to the first time and i love it! haven't got through the back end yet which i'm assuming is bad but i skipped to 'gunshot' and wowowow.

J0rdan, Diddy (tpp), Sunday, 29 April 2012 12:13 (fourteen years ago)

lol

J0rdan S., Sunday, 29 April 2012 15:06 (fourteen years ago)

your last post is like evaluating what it was like to live in new york in the 2000s while skipping over the back end of 2001

J0rdan S., Sunday, 29 April 2012 15:10 (fourteen years ago)

haha it stopped raining here so i left the house before listening to the rest of it

great album!

J0rdan, Diddy (tpp), Sunday, 29 April 2012 15:31 (fourteen years ago)

I heard a Nicki verse the other Day where she said something along the lines of

Time, a group with Jam and Lewis (Stevie D(eux)), Monday, 30 April 2012 03:22 (fourteen years ago)

along the lines of "I wanna have yr baby" or "I wanna be the father of yr child" or some shit. What was this?

Time, a group with Jam and Lewis (Stevie D(eux)), Monday, 30 April 2012 03:23 (fourteen years ago)

on the recent David Guetta single "Turn Me On" she says "I want you to fart on father my young"

some dude, Monday, 30 April 2012 03:25 (fourteen years ago)

It might be that

Time, a group with Jam and Lewis (Stevie D(eux)), Monday, 30 April 2012 03:33 (fourteen years ago)

I actually love her verse but oh my god that song is so awful!

Time, a group with Jam and Lewis (Stevie D(eux)), Monday, 30 April 2012 03:39 (fourteen years ago)

the singing is pretty horrid

some dude, Monday, 30 April 2012 03:41 (fourteen years ago)

of all the songs where she tries to sound like rihanna, it's the best one

karl kony (J0rdan S.), Monday, 30 April 2012 05:44 (fourteen years ago)

agreed

"i'm really sitting with anna"
who?

billstevejim, Monday, 30 April 2012 08:23 (fourteen years ago)

i'm surprised at the number of people who apparently don't get that line.

liberté, égalité, beyoncé (lex pretend), Monday, 30 April 2012 09:09 (fourteen years ago)

liberté, égalité, beyoncé (lex pretend), Monday, 30 April 2012 09:10 (fourteen years ago)

Another exceptionally lame interview by S Hattenstone for the Grauniad; warning, some of the most stupid questions ever asked in any interview are present here - http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2012/apr/27/nicki-minaj-bigger-balls-than-the-boys

Here he is with the classic "Poème Électronique." Good track (Marcello Carlin), Monday, 30 April 2012 09:14 (fourteen years ago)

haha i yelled at my computer when i read that thing. so many interesting questions to ask! none of them asked! i learn not one single new thing about nicki.

might as well have got a random commenter to do it in the spirit of ~open journalism~

this line really bothers me, makes nicki sound like a try-hard. if you get to sit with anna, no need to brag about it!

dayo, Monday, 30 April 2012 10:07 (fourteen years ago)

the westwood interview wasn't much better

TracerHandVEVO (Tracer Hand), Monday, 30 April 2012 10:15 (fourteen years ago)

xpost i dunno who that is, but i guess she's a big deal since it's mentioned 3 times
either way it sounds cool in the song

billstevejim, Monday, 30 April 2012 17:20 (fourteen years ago)

liberté, égalité, beyoncé (lex pretend), Monday, 30 April 2012 17:28 (fourteen years ago)

THAT'S OUR LIFE THERE'S NO END IN SIGHT

i can't believe i ever hated "starships"!!!! i just blasted it out of my window and sang along to every word and enjoyed every moment.

it's kind of like the OPPOSITE of a memento mori club banger - we are immortal, we were born for this and there will never be a comedown~~~

lex pretend, Wednesday, 25 July 2012 15:54 (thirteen years ago)

I still have mixed feelings about the track despite having very clear feelings abt the rap half of the record vs the pop half.

to welcome jer.fairall, pie is served. (jer.fairall), Wednesday, 25 July 2012 16:14 (thirteen years ago)

song is pretty whatever... if it was jessie j or something i'd give it slightly more credit but nicki is capable of much better
