You just go into spotify and search the apps for soundrop and add it.
Once you have it click on that url it should take you to the ilxors room. Click on "follow" so it always shows up.
once you're in the room to chat/add/vote you need to sign into soundrop with either your twitter or facebook account. Then thats it.
You cant chat/add/vote unless you sign in.

Not minded to get in a fight over this. Searching on Soundrop is easier if you know the Spotify catalogue well, searching on Plug is easier if you know what's on YouTube. I actually prefer not having the visual stuff. But ultimately I'll go where there are people playing tunes, and recently that hasn't been anywhere.

some of us are on soundrop every day so its easier for us. We can go to the ilxor room if anyones around no problem. Theres lots of public rooms to use as well as user created rooms.

and yeah since nobody has used plug for ages its been pointless trying to get anyone in there. I gave up bumping that thread.

I couldn't deal with bears/busy interface of plug, and it felt like a waste of time to even try, but if this is better I might give it a whirl when my life settles, which will be a matter of weeks (that's good, better than months).

Well, probably is a load of bullocks w/r/t the ILXor room so yeah, that was off the mark... I'm just so used to public rooms where people load up huge playlists of bad music, in that scenario, yeah, IMO I don't think everyone deserves to have their songs heard... which is the reason for the voting function for the community to use to decide what they want to listen to in a somewhat democratic fasion, which is how it is on most soundrop rooms that aren't private or highly particular.

you can listen to whatever you want at any time. there are only two reasons to frequent public rooms imo: you'd like to hear something you otherwise mightn't have or you're a sociopath trying to impose your will on ppl

there are a lot of sociopaths trying to impose their will on ppl in public soundrop rooms, tbrr, voting for tracks is usually a means to combat those people, not be one...

so they changed the web app. Looks very different. Noone has reported any problems either.
