agreed. this isn't grabbing me the way the last one was where it was all DEATH Y'ALL and i could ride a bit more with that, but it's very good.

I think I like this more than Exmilitary, tbh. Though I do miss how "Beware" sets up that record. There's nothing that stalks me in quite the same way here. what i think i mb liked most about ex-military was the sense of having been awake for 50 hrs, or left alone in an abandoned house til you'd gone feral; that semi-conscious, warm, listless, lizard-brain, head-nodding catharsis.

this album feels way more mannered, funnier, but still w/ that aggression: bludgeoning samples, very satisfyingly put together, still a big sense of relief. death grips are a v therapeutic band
