like this guy a lot but I need to hear more. think my workday listening today is gonna be just start at the top of this thread and work my way down the youtubes.

^ i'm doing something similar today actually. this dude has a LOT of music, i didn't realize that with all the eps i've collected amount to 3-4 hours of music. and based on this thread i'm missing quite a bit, too

I've listened to bits of morphosis and I have to say his music is pretty "beatless" compared to the manic percussions found in kassem's works, which is one of the things I like the most from him. as for marcellus pittman, yeah, I dig his works.

a lot of sounds familiar but tweaked somehow ... like maybe it's a lot of random revivalist detroit / chicago stuff on labels like delsin and clone that slip under my radar
like the track at 0-5 sounds like b12 or as one but i don't recognize itthe track at 10-15 sounds like drexciya but i don't recognize itthe track at about 30 minutes in sounds like it came out of my endless acid house comps (box acid? battery acid? big dick acid?) or it could be som e new thingthe track about 40 minutes in sounds like an edit of levon vincent
sorry i can't be much help, i know he spins a lot of weird shit and does edits of stuff too

thanks for your effort, late great. but surely somebody knows the acid freakout at 53:00? sounds very familiar to me.

Addicted to his Siege Of Troy album right now, playing it several times a day. He really can do no wrong.

My local record shop got about three copies of that and they sold out before I could get there and it seems to have sold out everywhere online :(

I'm psyched about hearing this one too

Striking a dialogue with Gunnar Wendel (aka Kassem Mosse), Gualdi realized an objective opinion and arrangement know how would allow clarity and an even greater freedom — that from her own music. Confident the tracks stood strong, Gualdi gave little guidance to Wendel, relying instead on their mutual sonic and structural appreciations to steer the end goal.

kassem mosse's surprise new album is really really good

I've listened to a few random EPs by this guy and I have to say I'm not taken yet. What it reminded me of was some of the early-2000s IDM I used to listen to on labels like Neo Ouija, but I've got it on good authority that his stuff is the bomb so maybe I should investigate further. He seems to have quite a sprawling catalogue so it's not obvious where to start. I'll give this new one a whirl soon.

It strongly suggests he should do more work with vocals (as does whichever Workshop 12" track has a slightly cut up vocal sample - don't have time to look for it right now).

this ep is amazing

That track doesn't particularly grab me, but am interested in hearing the rest of the EP.

Want this badly but €25 for a digital download seems like a lot. Is it streaming anywhere?
― The field divisions are fastened with felicitations. (Deflatormouse), Friday, 10 February 2023 02:38 (one year ago) link
25 euro is for the double lp. mp3s are 10 euro at hardwax (got to tap on the mp3 button to switch it)

since it’s on workshop i assume apple music will eventually get it (took a few weeks for workshop 31 to show up iirc)

there’s also bandcamp: kmos.bandcamp.com

thanks! that makes a lot more sense. i tried switching over to the mp3 tab before posting here, but it didn't work. it's working now, but i'll prob get it from bandcamp.
