i talked to the guy who owned BPM (Victor?) when it was shutting down and that's gone forever. in his old location in prime hayes valley is a clothing store run by his wife. and that one on the middle of the hill just wasn't working out for him. he realized music retail stores were a bust and closed shop. i think he organizes gigantic rock festivals in japan now.

That Mushroom w Eddie Gale will be amazing on Thursday. Going to Florian Meindl on Saturday night to wake up to a free Os Mutantes show at Stern Grove on Sunday. Then Chromeo for free the next week after that. I'm loving this city right now.
