Best Song on Diddy - Dirty Money's "Last Train to Paris"

i cannot imagine it any other way

i initially downloaded the leak which follows jordan's tracklist, but then i purchased the record from itunes which had 1. intro 2. ass on the floor 3. yeah yeah you would... it's really strange and not nearly as natural of a track progression as jordan's/k3vin's version. no idea why it changed.

Besides that reversal, though, I prefer the deluxe tracklist - I Know --> Loving You No More --> Last Night Part 2 --> Yesterday is a really smooth run, and 'Change' belongs right before 'Coming Home' if anywhere.

haha 'last night pt. 2' would probably be me vote in 'didnt get any votes' poll. probably my third fave on the album tbh everytime i hear the drums start i think im about to watch a really sweet 90s video

i was thinking of doing a 'best guest appearance on LTTP' poll but not sure if i want to rush into that level of overkill

there are surprisingly few standouts to choose from!

yeah that was why i thought it'd be interesting

lord, it'd actually be timberlake or grey for me (tip in third place)

everyone else is either barely noticeable (grace jones, bilal/fauntleroy backing vox) or crucial-but-not-notable (swizz beatz) or the worst thing about the song (drake, breezy, rawse) or dead (biggie)

usher and wayne acquit themselves well but i don't feel they bring the EXACT singular vibe that's perfect for both the song and the context within the album that timberlake and grey too.

if there was somehow a version of "hello good morning" with both tip and nicki minaj on it, and it was on the album, nicki would walk it. YOUNG MONEY I DO IT FOR THE YOUT DEM

"Your Love" is one of the best things Trey Songz has ever done, he probably would get my vote

trey may well have the best individual performance but i think looking at it in terms of whose absence from the album would be most felt it's weezy imo

i'd totally vote chris brown tbh - i've loved plenty of his songs before and after LTTP but i think his performers here are among the very few that hint at any actual humanity

well at least the better of the two CB songs appears without him (and perhaps more crucially, without Wiz Khalifa) on the Dawn mixtape

i might feel compelled to vote for CB in this hypothetical poll so please don't

also my hourly rate for humiliation is pretty high but i'm not saying no at this point in time
