i cannot imagine it any other way

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 04:58 (fourteen years ago)

i initially downloaded the leak which follows jordan's tracklist, but then i purchased the record from itunes which had 1. intro 2. ass on the floor 3. yeah yeah you would... it's really strange and not nearly as natural of a track progression as jordan's/k3vin's version. no idea why it changed.

Whiney vs. (BradNelson), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 05:08 (fourteen years ago)

putting the single upfront i presume

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 1 February 2012 05:09 (fourteen years ago)

Besides that reversal, though, I prefer the deluxe tracklist - I Know --> Loving You No More --> Last Night Part 2 --> Yesterday is a really smooth run, and 'Change' belongs right before 'Coming Home' if anywhere.

i kinda want a poll of just songs that got no votes in this poll

the parable is the parable of the (Lamp), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 05:48 (fourteen years ago)

this poll was started way too early, maybe in like a year it'll be re-polled

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 05:56 (fourteen years ago)

i think a repoll of the whole album wld have a the same top four regardless of how much time has passed but there are some real gems w/0 votes

the parable is the parable of the (Lamp), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 06:05 (fourteen years ago)

true true

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 06:09 (fourteen years ago)

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 1 February 2012 06:10 (fourteen years ago)

i've had jordan's tracklist all along

lag∞n affiliated (The Reverend), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 06:34 (fourteen years ago)

with "loving you no more" at the end except i deleted that song

lag∞n affiliated (The Reverend), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 06:35 (fourteen years ago)

^^^i know i know that you're no good

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 06:38 (fourteen years ago)

Surprised "Hate You Now" got no votes. And "Last Night Pt. 2"!

"Angels" I actually love but prefer the remix with Serani.

Tim F, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 06:43 (fourteen years ago)

haha 'last night pt. 2' would probably be me vote in 'didnt get any votes' poll. probably my third fave on the album tbh everytime i hear the drums start i think im about to watch a really sweet 90s video

the parable is the parable of the (Lamp), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 06:46 (fourteen years ago)

both of you otm

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 06:46 (fourteen years ago)

I like the remix of "Last Night Pt 2" way more than the LTTP version

lag∞n affiliated (The Reverend), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 07:07 (fourteen years ago)

alright shit lemme listen to this

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 07:17 (fourteen years ago)

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 07:18 (fourteen years ago)

lag∞n affiliated (The Reverend), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 07:42 (fourteen years ago)

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 07:43 (fourteen years ago)

we def need a repoll, like an annual one

dayo, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:50 (fourteen years ago)

no love for first place loser? I forgot how I even got this track btw

dayo, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 11:50 (fourteen years ago)

Really wish that "Freeze your face" version with the 50 songs would've came out.

Tired of these edcuated basic bitches. (lilsoulbrother), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 12:17 (fourteen years ago)

my parents were a little older when they had me, and they were both younger kids in their families. it always kinda weirded me out when other kids would talk about going to see their great-grandparents. like i didn't think that should be possible.

Critique of Pure Moods (goole), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 15:38 (fourteen years ago)

!

dayo, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 18:28 (fourteen years ago)

haha waitaminit i must have put that in the wrong thread

Critique of Pure Moods (goole), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 18:36 (fourteen years ago)

and now i can't even think where it should have gone

Critique of Pure Moods (goole), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 18:37 (fourteen years ago)

thought it was a lost line from "Someone to Love Me"

Euler, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 18:45 (fourteen years ago)

just looking for a great-grandparent to love him

cool story tho goole i'm the same way, pretty sure my greats died well before i was born

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 19:19 (fourteen years ago)

two weeks pass...

apparently the internet has no DDM tshirts to offer me, this is nuts.

however searching amazon > apparel for "diddy" does return this:

i was thinking of doing a 'best guest appearance on LTTP' poll but not sure if i want to rush into that level of overkill

Poor Turrican (some dude), Monday, 23 April 2012 18:46 (fourteen years ago)

there are surprisingly few standouts to choose from!

liberté, égalité, beyoncé (lex pretend), Monday, 23 April 2012 18:53 (fourteen years ago)

yeah that was why i thought it'd be interesting

Poor Turrican (some dude), Monday, 23 April 2012 18:54 (fourteen years ago)

lord, it'd actually be timberlake or grey for me (tip in third place)

everyone else is either barely noticeable (grace jones, bilal/fauntleroy backing vox) or crucial-but-not-notable (swizz beatz) or the worst thing about the song (drake, breezy, rawse) or dead (biggie)

usher and wayne acquit themselves well but i don't feel they bring the EXACT singular vibe that's perfect for both the song and the context within the album that timberlake and grey too.

if there was somehow a version of "hello good morning" with both tip and nicki minaj on it, and it was on the album, nicki would walk it. YOUNG MONEY I DO IT FOR THE YOUT DEM

liberté, égalité, beyoncé (lex pretend), Monday, 23 April 2012 19:03 (fourteen years ago)

"Your Love" is one of the best things Trey Songz has ever done, he probably would get my vote

Poor Turrican (some dude), Monday, 23 April 2012 19:04 (fourteen years ago)

^some dude otm

johnny crunch, Monday, 23 April 2012 19:05 (fourteen years ago)

oh actually yeah i agree! i forgot because i was looking at the choices in this poll and poor trey's credit got missed off

(but i think i'd still choose timberlake or grey)

liberté, égalité, beyoncé (lex pretend), Monday, 23 April 2012 19:11 (fourteen years ago)

trey may well have the best individual performance but i think looking at it in terms of whose absence from the album would be most felt it's weezy imo

r|t|c, Monday, 23 April 2012 19:19 (fourteen years ago)

oh i'd love weezyless edits of both his songs

Poor Turrican (some dude), Monday, 23 April 2012 19:20 (fourteen years ago)

can we do a kickstarter to buy goole that costume and then require him to wear it once a week

Badu and a sax run hand-in-hand (jjjusten), Monday, 23 April 2012 19:28 (fourteen years ago)

just another mise en scene trampled under ships' absolutist hooves xp

r|t|c, Monday, 23 April 2012 19:30 (fourteen years ago)

haha

i mean i totally subscribe to the theory that every element of the album contributes to the whole and wouldn't want to change a thing -- BUT if i was going to delete anyone from the record it'd totally be Wayne

Poor Turrican (some dude), Monday, 23 April 2012 19:31 (fourteen years ago)

oh i'd love weezyless edits of both his songs

^^

i'd totally vote chris brown tbh - i've loved plenty of his songs before and after LTTP but i think his performers here are among the very few that hint at any actual humanity

dharunravir (k3vin k.), Monday, 23 April 2012 19:46 (fourteen years ago)

well at least the better of the two CB songs appears without him (and perhaps more crucially, without Wiz Khalifa) on the Dawn mixtape

Poor Turrican (some dude), Monday, 23 April 2012 19:47 (fourteen years ago)

i might feel compelled to vote for CB in this hypothetical poll so please don't

goole, Monday, 23 April 2012 20:00 (fourteen years ago)

also my hourly rate for humiliation is pretty high but i'm not saying no at this point in time

goole, Monday, 23 April 2012 20:02 (fourteen years ago)

gotcher back, dude brought it on this album imo. i know tim agrees too
