the extended mix doesn't actually include more names. maybe the live version does?

Though it's nice they included Gemini, I'd almost forgotten about him.
weird that they lead off with 'spanker' johnson, ex-editor of the new statesman and legendary apostate of the left.

Uh certainly Sir John = Surgeon, right?
I wish they had a whole lot more of these guys' influence in their more recent work but maybe I'm in the minority.
I want to vote for Deeon or Rush or Waxmaster, but honestly Jeff Mills has probably influenced me and my tastes more than anyone on the list.

i had the impression for some reason that (w/ the exception of brian wilson, dr dre and george clinton) it was a list of people they'd performed with
They at played tons of raves in the Midwest in the mid 90's (before Homework came out) with a whole lot of the guys on this list (all the Chicago/Detroit dudes) so I always took the song to be a tribute to that period/scene.

i voted for dj slugo exclusively due to their awesome mispronunciation of his name. i love this track, its all about the extended mix on the flip of the one 12" for "around the world". DP were so much better when they just tried to rip off chicago house.....

Definitely DJs on the low.

T/F: Daft Punk would sound better if they were influenced by Lou Bega instead of Lou Vega
