"Bad Feeling" is a great VF track to get a taste imo.

Hollywood sadcore goes for the dreamy slow vibe, doesn't it? That's nothing like what V. Falls do.

You'd fit in fine, Lex, considering the variety of stuff that gets played – but on the other hand, you might not like a lot of the stuff that gets played.

Re Pyschic Paramount: "aimless" and "abrasive" certainly aren't my thing, but "post-rock" and "jazzrock" are. I guess I'll have to listen.

Well, we do have KJB in there regularly and he hates almost everything! But yeah, most people are pretty respectful of what others play. It's nice to be nice. You're more than welcome to join in, lex, as is everyone else - it's an open place.

If Cosmic Dead places, I think that that will be proof positive of the effectiveness of the outloud hivemind this year.

This album is almost expressly made to push all my buttons, but failed to do so every time I gave it a listen. :(

This is one that I couldn't get with when it was released in the summer, and I resolved to give it a try in the winter, but when the winter came I just defaulted to actual Fever Ray instead. Not bad at all though

i played this a lot for about a month, still think it's p good

HOORAY for Austra! I love Katie Stelmanis' voice so much, and I feel like this album is appealing to a wider audience than her solo stuff (even though I like the solo stuff better tbh).

Don't get the Austra love, I really really tried but it never clicked for me.

Would love to see Cosmic Dead place here!

I don't really dig the cold production so much as her warm voice.

i understand ppl's qualms with drake the person... it was prob my favorite album of the year sonically speaking, and dude is a good writer, getting better as a rapper
