As far as M83, I dig "Midnight City" but slightly prefer "New Map."

Not my favorite track from Femme Fatale, but it's def. one of my favorite radio hits of 2011. And since I knew it had a much better chance of landing on the results than "Trip to Your Heart," I switched my vote.

anyway "Gasoline" is my favorite off of that Britney album, but in terms of the singles "I Wanna Go" >>> "'Til The World Ends" imo.

This is kind of a "moment" song, like ball-dropping-on-new-years or something. It's got a bit of weight to it, but it's not something I'd go out of my way to hear every day.

Just sounds enormous. Not 100% sure it's the best song on the album but it's still an absolute rush.

album held up surprisingly well (i dismissed it at first) but i don't think it's a landmark pop album or anything. really astonished that so many people do.

My fave pop album last year besides Gaga was Jennifer Lopez's Love? which was universally slept on even though it was full of big tunes.

Okay, lol - turns out when I wnt to listen to 'Drums' I ended up clicking on this chill neo-soul track and I was all 'this is amazing!'. Felt pretty deflated once I hear the actual song though.

the original gave me so much life in 2011. it's like the ultimate end result of robo-britney. sure it's a template, but it's the perfection of the template. i'd be happy if it was the single to end her career on.

Yeah, listening to the remix, I'm not sure what either Nicki or Ke$ha add. I mean, I'm always happy to hear Nicki, but I don't think it takes the track to a new level or anything.

i aired my grievances w/ this track on the sandbox p&j thread, but suffice to say i think this song is pretty damn average even going by dr luke standards, and that no one would give a shit about this song if britney hadn't become a critical golden child circa "toxic"

I thought the production in the Britney song was awesome, but I feel like the main hook is really hamfisted and doesnt go anywhere

I don't think Brit did become a critical golden child. Toxic is ace and Blackout as an album is A++ good, but Circus and its attendant singles were mediocre at best. There are a couple of bangers on Femme Fatale singles wise but the album as a whole is ok, but not great.
