xp I'm not sure Moka realizes top 10 will be on Friday...? I def think Countdown and Super Bass are locks for top 5
Anyways I'm still holding out hope that Still Sound shows up tomorrow

oh my goodness both sax guy memes are loooooooool
― Aesop Rizzle (a hoy hoy), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:33 (fourteen years ago)
xpost: Oops thought JF was posting the top 20 tomorrow. Yeah countdown and superbass are definitely on the top 10.
― Moka, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:36 (fourteen years ago)
i always hope ppl are referring to this guy when they say "epic sax guy" and then i get let down when i find out it isn't so

― sisqó inferno (Lamp), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:37 (fourteen years ago)
benny benassi - satisfaction?
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:41 (fourteen years ago)
countdown is obviously running away with the poll
moka's predictions seem a bit... off
holy lol at Careless Whispers dude, that is fantastic
― I spend a lot of time thinking about apricots (DJP), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:48 (fourteen years ago)
xp to J0rdan: I believe that, though I kind of thought Super Bass and maybe Video Games were #1 possibilities
I think there's going to come a point when there's going to be at least one dramatic jump in the number of points and number of voters; I wonder where that's going to be
― uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:48 (fourteen years ago)
today's was the best 20 songs yet!― tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, January 25, 2012 5:10 PM (2 hours ago) Bookmark
Prolly my favorite 20 consistent placements I've seen from 2011 so far. Let's keep it goin.
I'm hoping for no Gaga.
― billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:54 (fourteen years ago)
haha yes! a 'sexy power tools girls' utbue search also worked
i would give a lot for 'video games' not to place
― sisqó inferno (Lamp), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:54 (fourteen years ago)
maybe i used consistent incorrectly... subsequent?
fav 20-placement-block so far
yeah "Video Games" would be a bummer.
― billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:55 (fourteen years ago)
Fuck #1's gonna be "Countdown" isn't it...
― billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:56 (fourteen years ago)
today was my least favorite day so far, still a good list though.
pulling for 212 to take the #1 spot
― ⚓ (gr8080), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:59 (fourteen years ago)
today i had two songs from my ballot place, which is good but most of the rest of the songs were garbage, which is bad. so it was sorta mixed bag
these predictions are kinda bumming me out
― sisqó inferno (Lamp), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:00 (fourteen years ago)
awww why doesn't spotify have "friday"
― ban opinions (reddening), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:02 (fourteen years ago)
well I think Video Games is a lock to appear
how high it goes depends kind of on how her SNL bomb affected voters
― uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:02 (fourteen years ago)
wait... I forgot about Pitbull. Takin it back.
― billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:04 (fourteen years ago)
xp I haven't seen the SNL performance... I just never understood why people went nuts over that song.
― billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:05 (fourteen years ago)
Me too, though maybe it's too soon to say since I haven't had a chance to check out some of the stuff I didn't recognize.
― John Gaw Meme (_Rudipherous_), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:05 (fourteen years ago)
guys can anyone tell me if the mp3 version of "friday" that amazon sells includes the rap
― ban opinions (reddening), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:05 (fourteen years ago)
I would guess no, and the only way to get the rap version is youtube to mp3 converter.
― billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:06 (fourteen years ago)
a list of 5 songs I hope don't appear
Midnight CityOn the FloorParty Rock Anthem (sorry Rev)Pumped Up KicksYonkers
― uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:08 (fourteen years ago)
actually switch out Party Rock Anthem and put in California
dying @ careless whisper guy
― call all destroyer, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:08 (fourteen years ago)
party rock anthem wasn't even nominated thank god
― ⚓ (gr8080), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:09 (fourteen years ago)
wait was it not? that's pretty fucked up
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:09 (fourteen years ago)
i don't think any m83 singles will be placing in this poll
"on the floor" the j. lo song? yeah, i wouldn't worry about that
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:10 (fourteen years ago)
xxxxp no it was--Rev nominated it--but there was a malfunction with the spreadsheet. That's why I switched it out with EMA; it wasn't likely to make it, and it was kind of kicking a song while its down
― uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:10 (fourteen years ago)
desloc piccalo is gonna be top 20 :D
― uberweiss, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:10 (fourteen years ago)
No "Midnight City" would be refreshing.

― uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:14 (fourteen years ago)
"love you like a love song" would make a great nu-disco/indie dance remix.
― dan138zig (Durrr Durrr Durrrrrr), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:16 (fourteen years ago)
"Midnight City" is a great song, you insane people
― I spend a lot of time thinking about apricots (DJP), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:16 (fourteen years ago)
i can't really get a handle for which random big indie tracks are gonna place in these polls tho tbh
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:19 (fourteen years ago)
yeah J0rdan you're not alone
― uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:20 (fourteen years ago)
I agree that "Midnight City" seems like a random choice for "song of the year." I won't complain when it places, but in my personal list it was somewhere closer to #50.

i hope so
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:23 (fourteen years ago)
Somehow, Party Rock Anthem got lost in the transition between sandbox and ilm proper. Several people said they were going to vote for it, but no one until the last day said "Hey, it's not in the list!" By then, it was too late (even though I did go and add it in with about 3 or 4 hours remaining). Sucks. I would've voted for it had I seen it, but since it wasn't there I didn't think about it.
― Johnny Fever, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:25 (fourteen years ago)
tbh i think "party rock anthem" had a pretty good chance of appearing if not for the fact they got LMFAOppressed
― lag∞n affiliated (The Reverend), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:26 (fourteen years ago)
seemed like about as many people around here liked it as "give me everything", which did pretty well
― lag∞n affiliated (The Reverend), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:27 (fourteen years ago)
Since I just kinda gave away that Party Rock Anthem didn't make it, I'll divulge that it did wind up with 3 votes and came in at #131.
― Johnny Fever, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:30 (fourteen years ago)
Probably would've been at least 100 spots higher if it hadn't gotten lost.
― Johnny Fever, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:31 (fourteen years ago)
feel like this entire poll needs an asterisk now
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:32 (fourteen years ago)
this john talbot remix is fantastic
i hadn't heard it but it's better than a lot of the dance tracks that come after it
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:33 (fourteen years ago)
creep/nina sky is kinda wack... i guess i feel good about nina sky getting work but it's too bad it's only on post-dubstep songs where they get dressed up as extras out of "black swan"
