Number None, Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:32 (fourteen years ago)

So 10 predictions for tomorrow:

Beyonce - Countdown
Minaj - Superbass
Azealia - 212
m83 - midnight city
EMA - California... or maybe Marked
Lana del Rey - Videogames
Grimes - Vanessa
Kreayshwan - Gucci Gucci
Todd Terje - Snooze 4 Love
Tyler - Yonkers

And probably Adele if the voters weren't as burnt out on her songs as I am.

Moka, Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:32 (fourteen years ago)

ok Aja Dante is Steve Winwood not Daft Punk; my bad

⚓ (gr8080), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:33 (fourteen years ago)

i don't know if you listen to my mixes kev but I used it in one i made

DO NOT CALL (The Brainwasher), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:33 (fourteen years ago)

Also don't get the love for the Wilco song. It's pleasant sounding (perhaps too pleasant) but I would have thought that a song in the adult contempo scene like say Sandro Perri's Changes would place over Wilco... or even Destroyer.

Moka, Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:34 (fourteen years ago)

to me "Sade" is made up of really wonderful ingredients that ultimate result in a song too busy and complex for its own good-- pretty much how i felt about the rest of DDM

wish diddy could learn how to just chill

⚓ (gr8080), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:35 (fourteen years ago)

i will never understand Katy B

i will never not love Robyn

⚓ (gr8080), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:35 (fourteen years ago)

Also everyone who has loved the Invisible Conga People song should check out their first single from a few years back. One of my favorite songs from the past decade:

Moka, Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:36 (fourteen years ago)

also thank u ILM for giving us dozens of "wtf @ dan bejar's voice/ a saxaphone/ soft rock" posts a full year after Kaputt dropped - cant remember if i voted for this track but the album was my #1

⚓ (gr8080), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:37 (fourteen years ago)

Oops didn't meant to embed the video... wanted to post a link only... sorry about that.

emil.y, Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:40 (fourteen years ago)

Decided I love the Grove Street track, but is it as good as Hard In Da Paint? Well no, but this is still grebt.

I want your nose, your shoes and your unicycle (dog latin), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:44 (fourteen years ago)

idk, it feels right that Nyan Cat - like "Friday" - should be represented in the poll, just for the way it was such a part of 2011's musical landscape? (Though aren't the votes for "Friday" as much for the ilx thread as they are for track itself???)

DavidM, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:11 (fourteen years ago)

lmfao, whose musical landscape would that be?

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:13 (fourteen years ago)

yeah i've never even heard of this until today

DO NOT CALL (The Brainwasher), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:13 (fourteen years ago)

then again i don't read 4chan or whatever

DO NOT CALL (The Brainwasher), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:15 (fourteen years ago)

i'd seen nyan cat linked all over the place but never bothered to click on it until today - felt i got 'the point' about ten seconds in and then stopped it

donna rouge, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:16 (fourteen years ago)

nyancat as a meme totally passed me by

Aesop Rizzle (a hoy hoy), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:16 (fourteen years ago)

lol @ the trackbar when you play nyancat in spotify

⚓ (gr8080), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:17 (fourteen years ago)

⚓ (gr8080), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:20 (fourteen years ago)

haha that's what i assumed it was too

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:22 (fourteen years ago)

Thx Gr8080 btw re Aja Dante

uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:22 (fourteen years ago)

i gotta think "countdown" is going to be somewhere in the 1-10 range, not the 11-20, yeah? did people vote "1+1" and "schoolin' life" at the expense of countdown, or in addition to it?

ban opinions (reddening), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:24 (fourteen years ago)

Thx Gr8080 btw re Aja Dante

― uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Wednesday, January 25, 2012 2:22 PM (2 minutes ago)

music video for eric prydz - "call on me" is all-time

⚓ (gr8080), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:25 (fourteen years ago)

xp I'm not sure Moka realizes top 10 will be on Friday...? I def think Countdown and Super Bass are locks for top 5

Anyways I'm still holding out hope that Still Sound shows up tomorrow

uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:26 (fourteen years ago)

oh my goodness both sax guy memes are loooooooool

Aesop Rizzle (a hoy hoy), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:33 (fourteen years ago)

xpost: Oops thought JF was posting the top 20 tomorrow. Yeah countdown and superbass are definitely on the top 10.

Moka, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:36 (fourteen years ago)

i always hope ppl are referring to this guy when they say "epic sax guy" and then i get let down when i find out it isn't so

its not???

also gr80 wats the electro track w/ the power tools vid?

sisqó inferno (Lamp), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:37 (fourteen years ago)

benny benassi - satisfaction?

J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:41 (fourteen years ago)

countdown is obviously running away with the poll

moka's predictions seem a bit... off

J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:41 (fourteen years ago)

holy lol at Careless Whispers dude, that is fantastic

I spend a lot of time thinking about apricots (DJP), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:48 (fourteen years ago)

xp to J0rdan: I believe that, though I kind of thought Super Bass and maybe Video Games were #1 possibilities

I think there's going to come a point when there's going to be at least one dramatic jump in the number of points and number of voters; I wonder where that's going to be

uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:48 (fourteen years ago)

today's was the best 20 songs yet!

Prolly my favorite 20 consistent placements I've seen from 2011 so far. Let's keep it goin.

I'm hoping for no Gaga.

billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:54 (fourteen years ago)

benny benassi - satisfaction?

haha yes! a 'sexy power tools girls' utbue search also worked

i would give a lot for 'video games' not to place

sisqó inferno (Lamp), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:54 (fourteen years ago)

maybe i used consistent incorrectly... subsequent?

billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:54 (fourteen years ago)

fav 20-placement-block so far

yeah "Video Games" would be a bummer.

billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:55 (fourteen years ago)

Fuck #1's gonna be "Countdown" isn't it...

billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:56 (fourteen years ago)

today was my least favorite day so far, still a good list though.

pulling for 212 to take the #1 spot

⚓ (gr8080), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:59 (fourteen years ago)

today i had two songs from my ballot place, which is good but most of the rest of the songs were garbage, which is bad. so it was sorta mixed bag

these predictions are kinda bumming me out

sisqó inferno (Lamp), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:00 (fourteen years ago)

awww why doesn't spotify have "friday"

ban opinions (reddening), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:02 (fourteen years ago)

well I think Video Games is a lock to appear

how high it goes depends kind of on how her SNL bomb affected voters

uncle acid and the absquatulators (Drugs A. Money), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:02 (fourteen years ago)

wait... I forgot about Pitbull. Takin it back.

billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:04 (fourteen years ago)

xp I haven't seen the SNL performance... I just never understood why people went nuts over that song.

billstevejim, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:05 (fourteen years ago)

today was my least favorite day so far, still a good list though.

Me too, though maybe it's too soon to say since I haven't had a chance to check out some of the stuff I didn't recognize.

John Gaw Meme (_Rudipherous_), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:05 (fourteen years ago)

guys can anyone tell me if the mp3 version of "friday" that amazon sells includes the rap
