Nyan Cat is about as useful as all those comedy brostep tracks that stick loads of wub over 80s tv themes. That said, the spacerock version is absolutely brilliant.

Yay, if I had heard this earlier in the year it would have got my vote but ended going with tracks I had lived with for months.

"another girl" is def cool... it's a bit post-dubstep pro forma for me to really get excited about tho

"another girl" is nice enough but i never really got excited about it, mostly because we already had the nguzunguzu remix of ciara's "deuces" (the source material of the vocal)

Nyan Cat is a monumental work of genius and it fully deserves its place in this list.

Amazed at the high Jacques Greene placing though - I had no idea it was so popular. I love it, but it's kind of the peak of a style (mopey post-dubstep plus disembodied r&b vocal) that I would like to go away now.

idk, the pro forma for me ended up being more like "this sound at its best/peak". nguzu are a different animal imo, but I'm not sure i can explain why
