Between Wilco Gotye and Pitbull I might take a break. Listening to bad music is really tiring

I've been following a policy of scrolling up so as not to see the videos because I'm at work, but I saw a bit of that gotye video. I won't be seeing any more videos

"give me everything" is one of those songs that no one would really be like YO THIS SONG IS DOPE offhand irl but if you were at a party and someone dropped it everyone would go crazy

I wasn't all that into the Wilco album, but I loved "One Sunday Morning," which is in fact a lovely Sunday morning song in the vein of some of Jim O'Rourke's pastoralia.

Yeah that Wilco song is actually pretty good, one of the few highlights ont he new album. Loathe Pitbull, but thats more for oversaturation than anything to do with the song itself. It would be fine if I'd only managed to catch it a couple times, not a couple times an hour.

The next one is going to have to be awesome I'm not sure I cant take any more

I realized yesterday that I fucking LOVE Watch The Throne. I thought I just liked it but I dunno, I really started paying closer attention to it yesterday and it's fucking massive mixed in with some of the most positive/aspirational lyrics I've heard in a while.

This one should be #35 - #25 to pay homage to the fact that you can't play it just once

This and Lift Off are the only songs I really loved from Watch The Throne. I didn't think it was a bad album just a bit forgettable, probably need to give it another play.

(actually, surprisingly enough, I kinda want to listen to it again)

I'm not a big fan of either so color me impressed.

I think my epiphany began when someone (on the sandbox maybe?) was talking about the dubstep track and I was all "what, I don't remember that" and when I played it I was like "holy shit Jay-Z is losing his fucking mind on this, why did I not notice this before"

Then yesterday I started playing the album in the afternoon and then listened to it on repeat for the rest of the evening

i'll have to try it again; i think i was just so sick of kanye when it came out.

Taking a break from the results for a bit...be back with #34 within the hour.
