never heard (of) this, i like it though

itunes tells me i played this invisible conga people track once in may, i don't remember it?

relistening...i am not sure, i think this knifelike stuff needs more gravitas than this has

i had no idea this track was a big thing anywhere though! never heard or saw anyone particularly repping for it last year

this is definitely the most atmospheric song to place so far

A little late, but the thing I like about "Whirring" is that it's basically a shoegaze version of Tegan and Sara.

i like the kinda loping backing track, it's an interesting rhythm, but she needs to be more decisive about what to sing over it

There are bits of Barbara Panther's album that I like but as a whole it's a bit too full-on, she can be kind of irritating a lot of the time.

vocals are fine; i love how the song backs up into a killer hook. I def caught myself singing "The ghost town, the ghost town" (or whatever she is singing) after the first time I heard it

Her voice really reminds me of Ari Up from the Slits.

Matthew Herbert did all the production on the album. She was just the voice on top (I don't know how much she had to do with the writing in the end).

xp Ari Up comparison is interesting; I dont totally hear it, but Slits are def one of my favorite bands so

I was expecting to listen to about five minutes of that Mogwai track, but then I found I couldn't turn it off.

This Invisible Conga People song is making me feel like I ingested too much NyQuil. In a good way.

I'd never heard of Barbara Panther. It's alright. Was going to say that the production is pretty great, but then if Matthew Herbert did it, kind of makes sense.

when did the voting for this happen? assuming the album voting happened too? i totally missed it somehow. wouldn't have voted on singles anyways but would have liked to vote on albums.

It all happened over the first two weeks or so of January.
