If it's a triple pun, it may be the first triple pun in pop music since "12 Inches of Snow."

Josh in Chicago, Wednesday, 11 January 2012 23:14 (fourteen years ago)

such a limp stab at a dubstep bridge too. sounds like it was made by some pop producer who tried to approximate skrillex using keyboard presets and doesn't actually know how to work an lfo.

the third kind of dubstep (Jordan), Wednesday, 11 January 2012 23:25 (fourteen years ago)

Is there a dubstep template in Garageband yet?

Josh in Chicago, Wednesday, 11 January 2012 23:28 (fourteen years ago)

Maybe she could get MSTRKRFT, BNJMN, SBTRKT and other producers who hate vowels on board.

"only girl in the kitchen" (boxedjoy), Wednesday, 11 January 2012 23:41 (fourteen years ago)

KMFDM too.

Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid

Bam! Orgasm explosion in your facehole. (DJP), Wednesday, 11 January 2012 23:48 (fourteen years ago)

or rather, Keine Mehrheit Für Das Mitleid

Bam! Orgasm explosion in your facehole. (DJP), Wednesday, 11 January 2012 23:49 (fourteen years ago)

It's German disco, Lex. Kinda.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 11 January 2012 23:50 (fourteen years ago)

(Kein Mitleid Für Die Mehrheit would make more sense)

Bam! Orgasm explosion in your facehole. (DJP), Wednesday, 11 January 2012 23:50 (fourteen years ago)

most importantly every single video should include her treating a DDR machine like a stripper pole IMO

I had this disc and never thought about the title much but wow that is good

frogbs, Thursday, 12 January 2012 00:04 (fourteen years ago)

All these producer ideas are terrible at a time when the phone presumably still hasn't rung for Dennis Ferrer and Quentin Harris.

Pretty sure I read that the album was being produced by Martin Solveig? Which isn't terrible but isn't exactly very exciting either.

KMFDM = Kill MotherFucking Depeche Mode

DavidM, Thursday, 12 January 2012 12:06 (fourteen years ago)

xpost Unless it all sounds like "Rocking Music".

Tim F, Thursday, 12 January 2012 12:22 (fourteen years ago)

Maybe she should just make a lolspk moombahton album like Nadia Oh's.

"only girl in the kitchen" (boxedjoy), Thursday, 12 January 2012 13:01 (fourteen years ago)

martin solveig is definitely terrible, think i'd rather skrillex

irina-camelia begu (lex pretend), Thursday, 12 January 2012 13:22 (fourteen years ago)

i don't think madge's voice is quite up to dennis ferrer/quentin harris levels of production though - they best frame house/r&b divas who can BELT IT OUT.

irina-camelia begu (lex pretend), Thursday, 12 January 2012 13:23 (fourteen years ago)

Quentin Harris? Calvin Harris more like

Number None, Thursday, 12 January 2012 13:24 (fourteen years ago)

Isn't this being produced by William Orbit?

Y'all make me think this'll be her Blackout.

do you not like slouching? (Eazy), Friday, 13 January 2012 00:48 (fourteen years ago)

she had her blackout already in 1992

prolego, Friday, 13 January 2012 01:25 (fourteen years ago)

Her best titles are always based on her name - her debut, Like A Virgin, Like a Prayer, The Immaculate Collection, even COADF, and now this. It's already been said but she really does have the fucking luckiest name in music history.

Madonna invites Azari & III to support her on her new tour

sean-paul sartre (flopson), Saturday, 14 January 2012 15:47 (fourteen years ago)

o_O that's awesome! wonder if they're on the album....

I had to google gucci mane (The Brainwasher), Saturday, 14 January 2012 16:04 (fourteen years ago)

_Rudipherous_, Saturday, 14 January 2012 16:40 (fourteen years ago)

everything about this era is looking up apart from, er, that bloody demo

irina-camelia begu (lex pretend), Saturday, 14 January 2012 19:29 (fourteen years ago)

lol @ "anzari" btw, gordon "smart" strikes again

irina-camelia begu (lex pretend), Saturday, 14 January 2012 19:29 (fourteen years ago)

Aziz Ansari doing a half-hour of standup before a Madonna show would be a great night out.

do you not like slouching? (Eazy), Saturday, 14 January 2012 19:35 (fourteen years ago)

azari & iii would be ideal producers for her, too

irina-camelia begu (lex pretend), Saturday, 14 January 2012 19:37 (fourteen years ago)

two weeks pass...

http://i40.tinypic.com/k4406.jpg

so she's seriously running with this whole mdma thing.

prolego, Tuesday, 31 January 2012 08:41 (fourteen years ago)

is it wrong that my first reaction to that was to silently cheer inside that we can't see her crotch

first period don't give a fuck, second period gon get cut (lex pretend), Tuesday, 31 January 2012 08:51 (fourteen years ago)

Isn't this being produced by William Orbit?

my cousin who is a borderline stalker re madonna has confirmed this.

mark e, Tuesday, 31 January 2012 09:37 (fourteen years ago)

i like that artwork
nothing screams madonna comeback like a private-dance stripper-milf portraut

quick brown fox triangle (schlump), Friday, 3 February 2012 18:16 (fourteen years ago)

for whatever reason i was expecting it to be more dancey than pop.

why is m.i.a even on this? her contribution is practically zero.

blonde nicki minaj disturbs me even more than half animal nicki minaj for some reason.

pandemic, Friday, 3 February 2012 18:16 (fourteen years ago)

mia does look spectacular at the start though.

pandemic, Friday, 3 February 2012 18:18 (fourteen years ago)

also not sure why madonna is breast feeding a doll thru a leopard print bra.

pandemic, Friday, 3 February 2012 18:20 (fourteen years ago)

ffs

surm, Friday, 3 February 2012 18:21 (fourteen years ago)

the video (or at least the snippets I watched, curse you open floorplan) >>>>>>>>>>>> the song

I spend a lot of time thinking about apricots (DJP), Friday, 3 February 2012 18:21 (fourteen years ago)

i don't know what she did between the demo and this but i like it a lot more. getting a bit of a "beautiful stranger" vibe. i don't think it's GREAT or anything but i am too hungover to listen again.

video works, nicki was excellent

this was the better of the two m.i.a. videos that came out today

first period don't give a fuck, second period gon get cut (lex pretend), Friday, 3 February 2012 18:23 (fourteen years ago)

holy shit @ M.I.A's video

man I hope she didn't put a Chris Brown song on her album

I spend a lot of time thinking about apricots (DJP), Friday, 3 February 2012 18:32 (fourteen years ago)

well that's something

the 500 gats of bartholomew thuggins (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Friday, 3 February 2012 18:36 (fourteen years ago)

re the new song/video: hey, that's kind of fun. silly but fun, and i don't even particularly care for madonna. chorus reminds me strongly of the dandy warhols' "bohemian like you", but that's okay, i love that song.

adolf jingle balls (contenderizer), Friday, 3 February 2012 18:58 (fourteen years ago)

'Hung Up' was alright, but it was undoubtedly helped a lot by that ABBA sample.

Rebel Heart was better than this but it doesn't matter.
