so in seriousness, lex, you asked me what my prob with you is. it's not that you have opinions. it's that you spent many days hijacking the Drake thread bitching that people liked the album when you didn't and that they gave too much attention to it and that all of the people who liked it were clearly getting sucked in by the mainstream media (even though the track history of the goons hyping the album refuted that point).

now you're doing the same thing here. like aero doesn't like Rick Ross, but at least I respected his reasoning for it, your responses are all like LOL, HIGH STANDARDS MANG? anytime someone says why they like him. smug, baiting 'lol u like shit music' replies get old real real fast.

i honestly feel like there has never been a rapper as popular (at least a 'cool street rap guy' type star) as Rick Ross has never and will be really worshiped or respected by anybody, occasionally surprises people (i'll give him props for "Mafia Music") but doesn't really ever inspire awe or, like lex said, make songs anywhere approaching,say, "What You Know." like his whole career is just the culmination of rap fans' desire at the moment to a) rally around someone when he's 'hot' whoever it is b) prove they don't care that much about 'street cred' by embracing a hilarious fraud and c) enjoy the increasingly Wesley Willis-like comedy of listening to this fat moron talk about crab meats.
