this may lead to a distinction i'm not following: "goon" is different than "rap" how exactly? cause if this is a thread for trap artists exclusively then someone needs to open a separate thread for, what, CONSCIOUS/POP artists or something? And what's the point of that exactly?

we posted about minaj in the rap threads until she got famous enough to merit her own thread (not because of a stylistic change)

i don't really see why dance rap can't be discussed in here. pretty sure the kid sister/gucci mane collab was posted in last year's thread and no one got butthurt

kraey was first picked up by rap fans (for lol n word discussions and rubbish connexions to other rap music) is the difference, no? whereas i needed to read p4k to see az banks.

it doesn't really matter to me where ppl talk about banks, i just kinda thought she had reached an audience that transcended us goons. i just think policing the goon thread is okay.

wasn't aware of a.banks as a pitchfork artist, i got her on the jukebox with 212 and then roamed youtube and was impressed and the new single is fucking good.
