"crew love" is one of the worst songs on the album but it's also the one he decided to debut on the radio the night the album leaked so that might have something to do w/ it

its p stupid: im listening to this 'properly' at home again in an effort to have an opinion i guess and i like parts of some songs ok but i dont really think the atmosphere works cuz drake is just sorta uncharismatic to me??? theres also the fact that its intense self-absorption does make it hard to project yrself into the fantasy of it all, im not sure where to 'place' myself in relation to the song so even the tracks i think 'work' as compositions (say 'practice') come across as watery and turgid

i dont know her but when i wrote a couple things for npr we exchanged emails, generally enjoy her writing & she seems to have good taste
