Not to be all "I WUZ THERE" losing-my-edge style but, uh, I was at the Cooler show where this happened. It was awkward as the bill was crazy long and the night dragged on and on and all these other, tangentially related MCs did two or three songs and kept promsing "very soon, Cannibal OX" and everybody was there for Ox and then, when it was time, Ox couldn't play because of this fucked up incident. Vast did some freestyles and explained the situation and apologized, and that was it. The beef was bullshit and just stopped a cool show from happening. So did the guy who did it ever get identified and (hopefully) publically shamed?
