Haven't ever seen Jon Carter play live - and haven't been to Famous for that matter - so can't say for sure. Carter's new Chinese Laundry mix looks like it might be good but it also looks very safe, so I'm not sure if you'll hear anything you wouldn't hear by going to any random electro/tech/house night. As for Famous, I never have a problem with dancefloor crowds on the assumption that one doesn't feel physically threatened, and we can safely assume that won't be the case here! I can't really complain about haircut house types anyway b/c I basically look like a haircut house denizen who doesn't go to enough effort slash doesn't spend enough money on clothes.

A shame there’s no writeup this year, would’ve loved to read your takes on them but the playlist is terrific.

Are they ranked in order? First time hearing this Cloth song and I loved it.

Not in order but in a vague attempt at flow, and I also tried to minimise overlap with other playlists I had made so sometimes the song chosen isn’t necessarily a standout favourite from the artist’s album.

But yeah the entire Cloth album is just really lovely, one of my favourites of the year for sure.

I keep finding great songs in here. Delilah Holiday - silent streets was off my radar and I’m currently obsessed with it.

Yeah there’s only a little bit of overlap from prior playlists - this definitely isn’t comprehensive even as a personal taste barometer
