ppl love the fuck out of plies it's so weird - the big rap station down here did their year end top 50 based on fan voting (supposedly) and there were two plies tracks in the top 3 (though they may have rigged it since he hosted the show [big lols @ getting to hear plies talk intermittently for like 3 hours)

it's weird that "put it on ya" is a no i.d. beat - it sounds like "i'm a flirt" and "sexy can i"

at this point trying to resist plies singles is kind of impossible

shit sucks -- all his 'for the ladies' songs are boring as fuck, or gross as fuck

im totally cool w/ 4 the ladies joints in general, im just not really convinced these are anything special

the fact that his songs are gross as fuck is the number one redeeming quality

it's not that they're gross as fuck - imo lil wayne singing about getting head is gross as fuck - it's that they're singularly gross as fuck . like the bed set/wet-wet line is only something you'd get from plies for better or worse (better imo)

that sounds like kool keith/'trapped in the closet' type 'enjoyment' to me

ahhhhh gtfo deej. for one the best plies loverman singles are the ones with best non-plies hooks - imo "shawty" and "bust it baby pt 2" and not "please excuse my hands" and "put it on ya" - but my point is that by being the grossest and crudest plies i guess transcends normal loverman rap

being liked/successful for being the grossest/crudest/most straight-forward is nothing in new in entertainment or music or rap
