yeah, j0rdan, i just totally disagree. expensive production, R&B superstar choruses, that stuff is part & parcel of the ross aesthetic. i mean aston martin music relies incredibly heavily on it & thats one of his best

"super high" as a concept & production was put to 1 million x better use on the remix

i don't know, "super high" and "magnificent" just feel really canned and uninspired to me

bougie r&b club ross is good ross imo

all the ross songs i really like (blow, mafia music, i'm not a star) are all the straight up rap bangers, i never really understood why someone who got his first hit with a song like 'hustlin' would kind of voluntarily make cheeseball r&b his niche

i bought The Otha Side of the Trap a while ago for whatever reason and it was like his lyrics came from a pre-filled Excel template...tho there were a few tracks on there that I like mostly cuz of the production (obv including "Make the Trap Say Aye").

i never liked 'make the trap aye' all that much -- and his lyrics were never particularly amazing, his flow was a unique one. i liked the way it would work on tracks like 'batman'
