As I quickly found out (and corrected in the NPR post), the youtube videos uploaded by gr8080 and the ILXor.com comps are one in the same. Serious d'oh on my part. Still, probably one of my favorite things on the Internet right now.

This is actually a highly experimental album. I'm not sure if I like it or not, but props to metallica for doing something this off the wall.

OK so owing to a number of things, I am finally getting around to really listening to this thing and as everyone else has said, props to everyone...this thing is awesome. Loving Blue Weather Ghosts and Virgin Killers on the first one. Halfway through the second one right now and it was all I could do not to crack up while listening to "The View" from Lulu II while I was riding the bus earlier today!

I was thinking that a good way to avoid the album art issue is just to replace it with something they don't own. Something similar but different, maybe.

AIXTC, I clicked on your track at random from the selections on youtube, and it's the first I've actually listened to of the project at all, just now. When the 8 minute mark rolled around and the colored girls' doot-do-doos entered the picture, my snortferley laughter probably woke the neighbors. Job well done. I'll eventually listen to everyone, but I'm going to pretend yours is like, the (11 minute) single that I was exposed to through the media first.
